Terms & Conditions

ResearchHub Intelligence ("the Service") is owned and operated by Abdulgafar Uthman ("we", "us", "the seller"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms & Conditions and enter into an agreement with Abdulgafar Uthman. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You confirm you are of legal age, and where you use the Service on behalf of an institution, that you have authority to bind that institution.

1. The Service

ResearchHub Intelligence is a web-based research workspace for projects, samples, worksheets, statistics, graphs, sequencing and PCR analysis, literature and citations, scientific figures, posters, slides and AI-assisted scientific writing. Access is granted as a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you select.

2. Accounts and accurate information

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular you must not:

• use it unlawfully, or for fraud, spam, or harassment;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publication rights;
• upload identifiable human-subject data, patient records or other sensitive personal data without a lawful basis and appropriate ethical approval;
• interfere with security — malware, probing, scraping, circumventing rate or credit limits, or reverse engineering the Service;
• resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs as a competing product.

4. AI features, outputs and accuracy

• You are responsible for the prompts, files and data you submit, for having the rights to submit them, and for how you use the outputs.
• AI outputs — including drafts, interpretations, citations, figures and posters — may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are drafting aids, not scientific, medical, clinical, legal or regulated professional advice. You must verify all results, statistics and references before relying on or publishing them.
• You must not use the AI features to generate illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, malware, or to fabricate research data or falsify results, and you must not attempt to jailbreak the models.
• As between you and us, you retain rights in the content you submit and in the outputs you generate, subject to these Terms. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to operate the Service.
• We may moderate, filter, restrict or remove content and outputs, and refuse requests that breach these Terms. Rights holders can report infringing content to support@researchhub.dev; we will review and remove material where appropriate and may suspend repeat infringers.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service, its software, documentation, design and branding. Nothing in these Terms transfers our intellectual property to you.

6. Plans, credits, payments and subscriptions

Paid plans and one-time credit packs are described on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled, and monthly credits are granted at each renewal. One-time top-up credits expire 90 days after purchase. Prices are shown in US dollars and applicable taxes are added at checkout.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and by our Refund Policy. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

7. Service level and warranties

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of data loss. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Keep your own backups of critical research data.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, publications or goodwill. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where such exclusion is unlawful. You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use, or your breach of these Terms.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination your access ends; you may request an export of your project data within 30 days, after which data may be deleted.

10. General

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to its courts, without limiting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
